Mental Performance Training

Katie Chan has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cornell University and is currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Sport Psychology. She has played elite-level hockey for most of her life from High School Academy hockey in the CSSHL to Division 1 ECAC championship teams at Colgate and Cornell. She also played professionally in Sweden and is a current player for the Vancouver Goldeneyes in the PWHL.
As a mental performance coach, Katie focuses on confidence, consistency, managing pressure, returning from injury, developing player identity, and anything else players need to strengthen their mental game. Her experiences at high levels of amateur and professional hockey have given her a wide range of skills and tools that have helped her learn and grow as a player and a person, and which she aspires to pass on to youth athletes.
